Poor Hitomi.
Hitomi has been out for, what, a day? She should give it some time before talking phobias. Literally an entire new world to explore can be overwhelming.
Phobias can develop especially quickly.
Hitomi has literally had almost no exposure to other people and lived in a literal bubble for her entire life, until yesterday.
It’s not that she has a phobia, it’s that her coping skills aren’t fully there, even with training knowing that his day would come.
I think from what I’ve read that agoraphobia can be sort of like a computer not having enough RAM – the brain just not able to deal with the vastness of some space or with all the people the eyes are seeing. Given that, as hariman pointed out, Hitomi grew up not dealing with large open spaces or crowds of people, it doesn’t surprise me that her brain is having trouble coping. She’s not actually trained for this.
Agreed. A phobia is an -irrational- fear. This fear is perfectly rational.
Poor kid. Shouldn’t have jumped right in the deep end like that, no wonder she’s overwhelmed!
Poor Hitomi. It sucks, wanting so badly for something not to be true that is true.
I can see how this page would take time. No need to be sorry about it, really.
