I’m guessing that one of them is Sarin and one of them is impersonating Sarin. Although your hypothesis is also possible.

Indeed – and now that you point that out, I’m realizing that Mori must not have narrated as much as we have seen here of what happened. She’s going to have some surprises when she gets back.
I guess we’ll get to see how thorough they are in impersonating others. Especially about the things not as easily copied. That are memories and, even more, small mannerisms and ticks.
Also, we get to see how Mori figures out which is real.
Looks like the original tricky demon that supposedly left is back, with a different face.
Oh Sarin Vs Sarin? that is a fight i want to see for sure.

It’s possible. As I recall, Sarin didn’t get ANY clothes from Mr. (or now Miss) Mind Controlled Sniper, and went into lotus position naked. Now while Sarin 2 may indeed be wearing clothes similar to what the sniper guy was wearing, there’s no guarantee that IS Sarin. Especially considering that Sarin is projecting an astral image.
Also a distinct possibility.
