Family issues and also the need to relax and clear the cobwebs from my brain resulted in this one being later than normal on Wednesday. Been stressed lately, but not giving my adoring fans material to look at also stresses me.

Erm, cop knows how to neutralize a -normal- werewolf. My guess is this is going to get worse before it gets better.
I think that’s the Dryad. She probably knows a natural method of neutralization.
Yeah a good old fist to the face…
Well, she certainly would be big enough for some kind of choke hold right now.
Pretty sure the dryad is a cop as well. Though I was mistaken in who I thought was talking before the colored version went up.
She’s cop, but the method she’s gonna use is based on her being dryad. I would guess some binding.
Giant Driad Smash!?
Good thing Sam spoke up before firing – that could have been bad.
Re: stress: I understand how that double-bind works, but remember to take care of yourself. Yes, the comic is your baby … but even when dealing with literal babies, “take care of yourself first” is good advice. 🙂
Well, maybe there are some anti-wolf herbs or something like that. Or it could be Dryad smash, I guess.
Wolfs Bane immediately comes to mind, and it IS a real-life herb. Garlic and sage are also popular, though not as effective in the mythology.
Speedball, I’ve been reading webcomics for some 10+ years now. And if I liked one, I stayed true to it even if it went on unannounced hiatus for months.
Now I know many people won’t be as patient as I am (although I reckon that a lot of the ones commenting here are). But trust me when I say this: One missed or late update will not drive them away or even annoy them unless they’re jerks.
So don’t stress too much about this. If you need some more time for an update, take it. And show it to us when you’re ready.
yeah, what Lukkai said 🙂
Aw heck, some of us still have Outsider bookmarked 😀
Real Life(tm) is surprisingly important. Do stuff there, relax.
I still check Venus Envy occasionally and that seems to be on a one evey year schedule now. Good webcomics are good no matter how slow updates
Paradigm Shift by Dirk Tiede, here.
(…also, just now I went to see if Sea of Insanity by LKM had updated since 2011. I would love to see that story continue.)
Come to think of it, I didn’t even learn of Planes of Eldlor until after the artists gave up on continuing the story, and I read the entire archives more than once. (I’d link to the site, but the domain seems to have expired.)
I’m not sure how a Dryad law enforcement officer ‘neutralises’ a werewolf.
I do remember how a werewolf law enforcement officer does it.

Summon some kind of herb (wolfsbane?), maybe? Or maybe release the essence of one into the air somehow? Maybe even use some sort of wild empathy to soothe the inner beast?
A *whack* to the nose with a rolled up newspaper?
:p
Remember Phil is also giant and super strong, also with enough appropriately applied kinetic energy anything will go down.
I like Kili cracking open an eye in Panel 5.
