Gigantism is an absolute nightmare, when it comes to the laws of physics. So far you’ve been really good with hand-waving the more obvious problems and giving some pseudo-science explanations to what’s happening in your world. Will we get one for that too?
For Phil, she was being pumped full of power from thousands of people and grew to a massive height, but could easily support it. Priss here is only about fifteen feet but that’s still big, and is running off her own instinctual rage, hunger and power reserves. If that sounds unhealthy to you, it is.
Suspending one’s disbelief with Phil is quite easy – she’s already a very magical creature, so it sounds reasonable that she can support being giant. Then there’s a strong link with trees which are quite massive, so, whatever, I can get behind that.
Are werevolwes known to grow giant-sized in this universe? Is the transformation completely magical or is it at least partially biological? Because no amount of growing bones and muscle will be able to support her spine if she ever tried to stay upright while towering over buildings.
Please note, that I’m not nitpicking for the hell of it – I really enjoy the story and the world you’ve crafted and I want to point out any potential plotholes and possible weak spots which might hurt the universe.
I really, REALLY dig how much more grounded and plausible your world feels compared to the most of them, so I’m especially invested in all the pseudo-realistic aspetcs of it.
P.S. You’re also one of the few creators I know that answers the fans so thouroughly and takes his time to sift through our nonsense. Kudos to you!
Every fan who writes me a single comment is a treasure so I have to show them appretiation.
Werewolf transformation in this case is totally magical and symbology based. Remember, Kili caught it from THE SPIRIT WORLD. It’s her SOUL that’s infected, and the beast is representative of the primal hunger hidden within us all. So werewolves break a few rules of mundane biology. Kili is not a mundane being when she’s a beast, she’s halfway to a demon. (“spiritual being”, despite the negative connotation of the word. Any being born of magic could be called a demon, including a dryad like Phil, but that’s like calling a human an animal, it is insulting even if technically true.”)
Ooh. If i think correctly.. we might get to see them nuking out as giant werewolves. too much awesomness!
*Aherm*
Oh no!
They say he’s got to go
Go, go Godzilla!
Yee-e-ah.
There goes Tokyo
Go, go Godzilla!
Yee-e-ah.
Woops. Missed an “Oh no!” there.

I’m thinking we regress Priss to an infant, still a werewolf but now uncoordinated and a lot smaller, just proceed with the treatment plan.
I know, right?! ‘Cause then we could have a cute blue baby werewolf, and it would be awesome!
Elka has a very good sense for what is important and what isn’t.
That girl has her priorities set straight!
Hope the cops have a big-ass tranquilizer gun, or something to that effect.
Oh god. Just noticed the tongue in the fourth panel. Can no longer make it past that point and take this strip seriously.
