I think you’re right. I see that the color version has Sam a bit less blase about the situation than in the B/W draft, and it feels like an improvement.
And you guys have to admit that it definitely would be an asset for a cop! Being able to follow a suspect by smell alone, even after he has long left the scene. Find important evidence even when it’s buried or hidden. Things like that.
