I went back and reread the first couple chapters. The art really isn’t that back, IMHO. The characters don’t look exactly like they did later on, but that’s true for a lot of comics that I’ve read.
The perfect is the enemy of the good, so don’t spend tons of time redoing things to your level of perfection and keeping us from getting more new Dragon Doctors comics. Any time you put pencil to paper you are defeating the perfection in your mind, but perfection doesn’t exist in the real world.
And we have a new trope! STUPID AWESOME! Not to be confused with “So bad it’s good.”
while she’s at it, maybe she can reinvent herself a family name.

That adds a WHOLE new meaning to “self-insert character”.
I’m wondering if the light is supposed to be a metaphor for the light that makes up the images of a computer screen. …But maybe I’m stretching the metaphor past where you took it.
