Was about to post “Tell us a story Speedball”.. but I guess you have a good explanation. I guess the only time I get updates as frequently as I like is when I go Internet-free for a week or more and have a couple updates when I come back.
Oh, yeah. I know what you feel, had a herniated disk, made it impossible to do ANYTHING for three months after surgery. Then another 3 for physical therapy.
Be sure to do everything the doctors tell you, and don’t push yourself.
Back pain runs in my family… though in an un-genetic way… dad broke his back in the Navy, Mom hurt herself trying to catch a falling piece of equipment, grandpa had a tractor flip over… anyway, take whatever time you need.
Aw, hey, no worries. And don’t feel like you need to delete this later… I think it’s cute! People underestimate the timeless charm of those simple earnest circle faces. In any case, rest and feel better and all that!
You know what you need? You need the services of someone who can use magic to heal physical injuries. I wonder if anyone’s ever written a webcomic about that sort of thing…
Hey man, good luck with recovery! And take it easy when you need to! We don’t mind waiting for a comic or whatever as long as we know you’re getting better!
On a different note, which sorta prompted this post, just read through your lets play of Civilisation 5: Peace Walker, and I loved it! I only realized it was yours about halfway through when I noticed that the handmade drawings looked like yours (while I did spot the reference to your comic in one part, I just thought that was a coincidence), you did a good job!

Trust me I want to I want to I want to! Arrrrgh. But I’m getting new pain meds, hopefully I’ll be in a position to catch up on my comics.
I have had back pain. I empathize with what you are going through. I hope that you have been able to get medications that work for you.
I enjoy the story of the Dragon Doctors and visit your website daily. Your art continues to improve.

By the way, I don’t know the situation you’re in, but definitely what Uhl said.
In general, if you’re not doing it already, and if you can, then physical therapy is a great way to speed up healing.
Get well soon.
Get well soon. sore and painfull backs.. not fun. i hope you recover quickly. Watch some movies/Netflix/DVD/something else.
My utmost sympathies. Please take care of yourself – we don’t want you to hurt yourself just to make comics happen sooner.
Ouch, backpain sucks. Take care!
Get well soon! Wanting to get work done but not being able to due to injury/sickness/etc. sucks.

Don’t worry about us, your safety is first! I hope you’ll get better soon.

Oh GOD YES
Maybe I write about magic doctors because of a deep-seated desire to have medicine that works instantly.
Don’t worry about it!
Take your time, heal up properly, and get back to the comic when you’re healthy again. 🙂

Hahaha, yessss, thank you! I loved doing that thing. And you should all know that I’m shooting to get a new comic finished tonight.
