Ooh, keep your politics out of my Dragon Doctors! Sorry. The views and opinions expressed by the villains do not necessarily reflect the author’s. Also I apologize for this being a very wall-of-text-y comic.
Our first month of Patreonizing is up and I’ve got a winner for the first month’s guest appearance raffle! Yay! Winner’s been notified. Patreon subscribers, stay tuned for the upload of the first part of the story about Goro being awesome. (Patreon tells me I should wait until the money’s technically in the bank before I give out stuff on the monthly basis, sorry!)
This looks like a job for
AquamanGreg! English literature battle!thoughts persist, they take long to die out, but dieing it is
I thought Mori exist that whoever that is has someone to gloat to
This comic is like one I read much earlier in that one of the lines in it strikes me as having a very profound grain of truth in it. Here about humans needing to feel superior to others, and in http://www.theduckwebcomics.com/The_Dragon_Doctors/5404099/ about regret for the past. I have it linked to at The Duck because I read it there when you hadn’t ported everything over here yet.
I completely don’t mind the text based comics because the world-building and creating ideas is a lot of what drew me in in the first place
Actually the slave trade was a worldwide phenomenon that was dismantled by the USA immediately after its founding. It didn’t outright ban slavery, it did immediately stop import of new slaves and in 8 years completely ended the international trade, after that it was just a matter of freeing the already existing slaves, which was done state by state until the civil war which freed all of them.
Most slaves were also bought from their fellow countrymen, not kidnapped by foreign slavers.
The african nations weren’t defenseless, slavers had to buy slaves or face military opposition, so they bought them
This is all true, but this is glossed over by the demon for its argument, which is that humans suck and cling to falsehoods to the point where the falsehoods somehow become culturally accepted as truths.
Also it’s been 2000 years since our time so the details are a bit fuzzy to the people living in Frontera. (You buy that?)
She is a lie that exists to make SPEEDBALL’S FANS feel better! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!
