Ladies and gentlemen, meet our new antagonist.
Ok, it’s not the end of the comic. Sorry. (Left you hanging for half a day, though!) Obviously, I wouldn’t have done this ONE MONTH after starting up my Patreon campaign. Haha. And as anyone who’s unlocked the “Spoilers” privileges at Patreon’s donation level would know this too.
Speaking of that, you still have a chance to donate now because in about three days we’ll have the first Dragon Doctors short story uploaded to all Patreon contributors! Once again, it’s at http://www.patreon.com/Speedball . GO FOR IT! Keep Mori alive!
Well, considering that it would’ve been a poor choice to kill the main cast without any real build up, yeah, I think most of us could tell (and most of us expect more than that out of you).
So, antagonist… Entropy?
‘Reality makes less sense than fiction’… eh, depends on your view. Your average movie, book, or other work of fiction has a nice start, middle, and end. It makes sense. Real life doesn’t always work that way, and even when it does is typically too complex for you to follow the thread.
However, how much sense is the typical dream, or the average bit of imagination from a 5 year old’s play time?
I’m not sure about the “average” books. Even lot of successful books don’t make sense or have lot of plot holes. It needs good writer to make story which makes more sense than reality, and even most of them need to work hard on that, making several versions between they get it right. Of course, we don’t ever SEE those failed attempts.
