Welcome back. Don’t worry about the down time. I still check webcomics daily that haven’t updated in years. The most important things to me is my favorite webcomic creators are doing well. Second most important an imaginative story, which Dragon Doctors has in spades.Art comes in about 5th. Regular updates depends on how addicted I am, the more addicted, the longer I’ll wait. DD is easily worth a 4-5 month wait to me.
Please don’t stress yourself over this. Whether it’s colored or not I think everybody would be happy. Perhaps you could get a colorist who would do it for you, so you can concentrate on the story you want to tell?

Marvelous! So much soul. You empathize with each of your characters, bring them to life, and they bring their world to life.
Don’t know whether the Patreon has been good for the strip. It’s been necessary for you, and without you there’s no strip. However, the marvelous compassion of the earlier strips has attenuated as you strain to satisfy what you appear to feel are the demands of your patrons.
The sort of people drawn to your strip are drawn to your copassionate soul as it shines through the stained class of your characters. There’s no need to struggle or strain – your fans see your innate beauty.
But, you already knew this 😉
The Patreon has been good for the strip, I’m considering just shifting it to “everyone who donates gets everything” since it’s been a while since I was able to put out content for it…
