As you can see, there’s a wide range of reactions for the rescued crowd. They’re all different people, after all.
And I think this is the first dark-colored Crystal Person we’ve ever seen.

Much better.
Seeing so many different reactions on one page rather neatly put my concern from last page to rest. Good work!
I am puzzled by one thing, though.
Really? Of all things, the DOLLAR survived the world ending… what was it even? Four times over?
Just seems like a tiny but intriguing bit of lost opportunity for world-building.
The dollar probably only survived as a name; multiple different currencies are called “dollars” even today
Eh. guess I could see that happening.
The actual currency hasn’t been around for quite a while, but people still use ‘doubloons’ as a term for money after all.
Could be that the translator spell mentioned way back when Rina was introduced converts currency (and measurements?) too, and we’re getting an equivalent number in a currency most of us recognize, if not actually use.
I like the design of BW!
Also, Rina see,ms very, very aware that she was the one who talked Josh into this. XD
I’ve forgotten what the hearts society does
They’re a charity/activist group dedicated to helping people who have been forcibly transformed against their will.
While the biggest focus is on people transmuted into stone/objects, they also help those who are transformed into other forms.
Hence why the entire crowd of girls turned to guys (who might have been guys before, in some cases), are now being helped by the Heart’s Society.
Not just transformation. Any sort of evil magic that violates a person.
Ah, true. I’d forgotten that the Hearts Society covers the entire spectrum.
We’ve just mostly seen them dealing with harmful transformations. Well, at least as far as I can recall. :p
Does BW considers itself female like other crystal people?
I’ll leave that up in the air for now. It’s not impossible for a crystal person to identify more with what humans think of as masculinity; I definitely had one in mind for much later, named Jet, that would have.
this page made me smile.
Hehehe… Panel three emphasizes once more why Elka rules!
Tanica would have gone for the throat. Elka used a harsh, but nonlethal method to neutralize her/him.
Meh, they were all unfit for giving consent anyway.
As the cure was so difficult to come by and the the ability to change those that wish to back to women the only real issue here is the cost of the material used to save the day. Which means that the accountants will be out in force to find out why they used valuable resources to save lives, just like this world.
It’s also a matter of principle. As a member of a group dedicated to helping people who’ve been hit by any kind of unconsenting and violating magic, like transformation, you can’t easily stand for mass unconsenting transformation.
Sorry, I just don’t agree with them then when it comes down to the change stopping a riot that may have lead to deaths if it had continued. The changes can be reversed, but death seems to still be final for the most part.
I believe Rina and Josh will likely be vindicated in this case, but it’s still necessary to investigate.
That was my point, yes. They might very well come to the conclusion that what was done was right and necessary. But they won’t just handwave it like it was nothing.
Yes, yessssss so many more possibilities for crystal people!
Is that the Demon who tried to steal Mori’s identity talking in the second panel?
…huh! I hope not, but he matches the general description.
