Sorry for lateness, guys, my current work schedule kind of eats up all my time on Thursday and Friday.
This comic took a bit more effort than usual to get all the body language right for a fight. I don’t draw physical fights much. Not that this is much of a fight at this point.
She’s sizing him up..
Since she’s still alive, they want her alive… not sure if that makes thigns better or worse.
No, they tried to kill her once. They may just be trying to figure out the most effective way of killing her without her causing a lot of collateral damage. And once upon a time Sarin was a good fighter, right? Or is that only with a knife or only with the advantage of superior strength.
But I really wanted to see more of what Aki/Goro/Amy were up to.
Don’t worry, we’ll be seeing a lot more of them than the other two situations this chapter.
Powerless? hmm i somehow doubt that. even in an antimagic field.. a person still can be dangerous. even a toothless wolf still can kill.
Somehow I have to wonder what Sarin would do with a paper cup. Something deadly and surprising, no doubt.
My guess at what happens next: Sarin takes the bad guy’s own weapon away from him and hurts them with it.
Looks like their anti-magic field requires electricity. If Sarin gets anywhere near the plug or the police cut power to the building the villains are toast. That’s not even counting what she can probably do by literally fighting back. Trenchcoat dude is obviously pretty fast, but Sarin may not be out of the fight yet.
