I can see the apeal of trying out a different gender for a time. But I don’t think I’d want to swap back and forth all the time.
The concept of trying out a different gender for a time *is* appealing; it’s kinda a shame that capacity doesn’t yet exist in our world.
Just realized: Elka’s first reaction to “dual-mode” was “it cuts your mana flow in half”.
She really has been paying attention to her magic lessons, hasn’t she?
I take it that learning to cast genderswaps for oneself would take a great deal of time, effort, personal expenditure, etc.? Darn…
I agree very much with Brian. Flipping genders at will would be awesome – though I’d want more variety of forms than just 2, eventually, and I’d also want some good old-fashioned fireball spells, so reduced manaflow = bad. I don’t suppose spells targeted on oneself are generally easier to cast?
Oh, is that what they’re calling it these days?
