B/W Version for the moment, I lost my work on the colored version. Still colorizing it, but it’ll be a couple hours before you guys see it (sleep is a factor). I’m also altering Cary’s body language in panel 3, it’s wonky as-is in this rough version.
I love Cary’s pose in the “Girlifying lightning” panel, though.
Okay, I’m curious. Was mentioned earlier that part of the reason there’s no practical cure is that gender essence hasn’t been extensively played with, and so there isn’t an established infrastructure. Other sorts of energy, such as the Strength Goro needed, gets absorbed by vampires and such, so cures have been worked on. A ‘normal’ human is 50/50 in their potential to be male or female, so far as magic is concerned, and which gender they are depends upon which side of the coin is up. (Perhaps an inaccurate metaphor, but the one I’m going with.) The Stone drinks away a person’s male side, leaving them 0/100, so there’s only a female side of the coin. Okay, all that established; would it be possible, for a female unaffected by the stone, who wants to remain female, to donate their potential ‘maleness’ to a stone victim, allowing them to return to being male? Is a partial donation possible, such to leave a the one making the donation at 40/60?
the problem is no one has done any serious work on HOW to donate said energy, there was on strength.
Essence* not Energy
Ecchikitty, this is also being treated like a matter of blood transfusion, the essence has to be a match and there would be a limited amount as well considering the world likes to spice up their lives with all kinds of transformations.
Valley cursed people just can’t become the male half of any transformation so long as they lack male essence.
Biggest thing I start to wonder… What happens if both one’s Male & Female essence where to be removed? It’d be unheathy I’d assume. But what resolt would happen?
Probably the same thing that happened to Mr. C on Page 12: a sudden painful death.
I doubt that, you’d probably end up perfectly androgonous without any sexual organs or traits at all.
“If we got over it, they can” – I don’t think I have enough fingers for the holes in that argument.
