My friend afeldspar came up with this page’s idea, but for him originally it was Mori having a bad dream, not worrying about the consequences of her discovery. I really like the reversal between the two.

This reminds me of an Incredible Hulk story I read recently. Someone had been using gamma technology in a way that was irradiating Atlantis, and when Bruce Banner showed up to try and stop them, the Atlanteans put him on trial for creating the technology. Banner’s friend, acting as his advocate, deliberately made him angry enough to change to the Hulk- not to escape justice, but to demonstrate a point. “If Bruce can’t even control the fallout from using these inventions himself, how can you hold him responsible for what happens when other people use them without consulting him?”
Hmm. Now that I think about it, the Incredible Hulk is kind of a transformation comic…
