Like a lot of my characters, Lem just sorta…popped in there. Also Lem is, I think, the first genuine trans person I’ve shown, aside from a few thrillseekers like that couple from a few pages back.

I had forgotten about how much I laughed when I first read the phrase “I’m a Clown genetically”
I’m not entirely sure why but I still find it hilarious as its so unexpected
I for one don’t think the “thrillseekers” count as a trans person, they were just doing it as a bit of a sexual fetish. Real Trans from what little I know don’t do it that way but do it because that’s how they feel they are.
And miss the original comment that was paired with this comic… Loved how it talked about the clown and how scared Trional is of “oddities” like that.
Xel: Correctamente. I actually think there may have been one or two minor characters back in the first or second chapter who appeared to have been gender-dysphoric (transgender) before they were cursed. Technically, any of the now-females who retained their male gender identity (Goro seemingly being one example, though it’s not as clear-cut as it once was) are transgender.
The clown wins the “who got the worst deal” here.
