Not too fond of merely telling, rather than showing, that the cops are closing in…but I wanted to keep the focus on this room at the moment. Also: I really like Logan’s retort. She’s also pretty good at playing Good Cop in Good Cop/Bad Cop. Aside from shooting Jack in the foot they haven’t needed to slap him around at all to get him to talk.

Cops closing in are just cops closing in. Probably not much lost not showing this. However you have shown their reaction to the cops closing in, which is likely far more interesting. I think it was the right decision.
I like that last panel too- but partly because it’s effective as well as funny. We know Blue has the ability to take on human form*, and we know Jack knows… but why tell the bad guys anything about your girlfriend the cop that they don’t already know? 😛
*She’s a humanoid hunk of crystal who can change her shape, she grew up in a world with much tighter restrictions and left it for this one, she fights evil despite her problems with the existing authorities… is Blue the first Crystal Gem?
