Not really – “vegetable” just means “plant” in this case. In fact, technically speaking, fruits count as vegetables. 😛
I would have thought fruits count as crazys – if we’re not mixing the language too far…
No, that’s fruitcakes or nuts. And my fruitcake recipe (which used to be my grandmother’s) uses a lot of nuts, so it doesn’t have much to do with the fruits.
