I mean, sure, hopefully they can convince her not to want to go back to killing people- but if she returns to human form and wants to rejoin the Trsanti, “I know why we suffered that one humiliating defeat and how to keep it from happening again” would be a pretty powerful bargaining chip- and the Trsanti having that information would be potentially deadly to future targets who might otherwise escape with their lives.

I think given how much knowledge of the Dragon Doctor’s is public? the Trasnti already know what they did wrong.
