Uh-oh … hoping that “helping” create the stone won’t cause any permanent harm, because I don’t see any cavalry coming for Jack.
Wait, if things are going according to the demon’s plans and they WANT Cary to nuke the world with a Harvest Stone….
…only theory I can come up with is that the demons NEED themselves to be completely wiped out for something MUCH worse to get in (maybe there are some good demons that they need dead enough to allow genocide of their race?)
Um. No. The demons feed on the pain and suffering that Cary’s “plan” will unleash. Only fully materialized demons are actually harmed by the Harvest stone. Those inside people’s heads are untouched. In addion, only a male demon, has been killed that way. We don’t know if a succubus (which is Cary’s ultimate target) will be harmed. Worse, said succubus has already fled town, and will just wait until people start to leave Tinto for a happy new feeding ground of defenseless victims to have her incubus ally highjack.
