I’m back. Thanks for waiting. I’ve been getting better very slowly, but definitely. Therapy, meds, and friends, and people like you kept me going. Thanks.

Yay. glad to see you back. 🙂
Cary may be traumatized, angry, and grieving, but she’s always, always dramatic. The end table was a particularly nice touch.
Welcome back. 🙂
Sounds good, glad to hear from you again! And it’s always great to get a new page.
Ah! Pleased you’re back. Stay well (and productive) !
This is why I found it worth my time to visit this website every single day. Congratulations on starting the next chapter of this engrossing story. Even more congratulations on your improved health.
Oh. Poor Jack. he can’t get a break.
Sooo, we don’t get explanation about number six?
It’s coming.
Glad to have you back and feeling better …
And damn, Jack is going to need some serious professional help after all is said and done …
Even this minuscule update has managed to make me remember how inspirational your comic and your journey making it has been for me. With what’s going on the world, I needed to be reminded that there are reasons to have hope and embrace beauty even when things are looking down. Thank you Speedball, for being there for me even when I’m not there for myself when I’m battling depression and anxiety.
Thanks, Trekie. I feel better. I’m going to finish this one.
Wait. Wasn’t the intended vicim named “Sam” not “Jack” or is Cary using the wrong name on purpose?
Sam is the police officer – Jack is Blue’s main squeeze.
Good progress on the inks!
Ooh, I missed the colors! Looks really good – like a nice, pleasant, not-being-kidnapped bedroom. 😀
Nice color palette. They really complement each other.
Somehow I doubt the “painful part is over” is a true statement. Jack is still alive, and in Cary’s custody.
To date, Cary has not shown prisoners any tender-loving care, in reality, but has given plenty of lip-service to the notion.
I had forgotten how colorful your artwork is, it always looks great. The weird and wonderous world of The Dragon Doctors always looks weird and wonderous.
