HAHA! Yes, it’s going up late today because of many script changes due to me rethinking things. Originally I wasn’t going to show off too much transformative fallout from their experiments. Then I thought this would be funnier.

You know I suddenly have the urge to ship Hitomi and Elka, I can’t quite figure out why though.. Hitoka? Elkomi?
Hitolkien, will become a famous writer of space-samurai scifi.
Three cheers for Sarin’s conscientiousness when she was treating Amy! Fortune favors the prepared, as they say. 🙂
I.. got this feeling that there are bad news on the way. it can’t be that simple to change her back. I hope for the best and prepare fro the worst.
It’s not the changing her back that’s hard, it’s managing the damn temporal anomaly in her body that’s hard. Especially since they’re already in a time-distortion field.
Bad news? That’s easy, doing the speed-up process takes 2 people but only affects 1 person. Whoever goes on the “long walk” to flip the switch will then be trapped in hypertime, moving faster than the rest of the universe and unable to slow down. S/he spends the remaining time before death alone in a world frozen in time (from their perspective) while from everyone else’ perspective s/he dies instantly.
Or not. Not everything has to be a tear-jerker.
Might be though. Certainly will be if they make the tiniest of mistakes.
Hmm…Given that they are in a “Go Faster Bubble”, how will the “Age Faster” anomaly inside Amy help at all? It seems like they need “Go slower” more than anything else.
Hmm…Although, even if you did slow somebody down enough to get through the barrier without starving to death, the amount of time it would take to disable the device would probably still condemn everybody inside the bubble.
So actually, you DO need extra “go faster” juice. If you can make sure that somebody pushing through the barrier remains at “go faster” speeds, they’ll be able to reach the device in a reasonable amount of time if they can remain at ludicrous-speed long enough outside the distortion.
Wow, it’s almost like Speedball thinks his stories through…(and even if you don’t, you can always fall back on ‘magic!’)
As I see it, there’s two things they need to do: Tweak the “Age Faster” anomaly to a “Go Faster” anomaly, and sync the anomaly to the bubble, so that she can exit the bubble, and (hopefully), when the bubble comes down, it brings down the anomaly with it.
Presto!
Dr. Aki.
DrAki.
Drac! S/he’s a vampire! Goro, Hitomi, run!
