Well, that’s one assassination down, two more to go. I am so, SO SO sorry for making my loyal fans wait this long. SO unprofessional of me.
I also really like this rendition of Werewolf Greg, it’s been years since I drew Werewolf Greg.

Now that’s a badass line.
Speedball my man, don’t worry about it. Awesome takes time. You keep giving the awesome, so no worries, take whatever time you need.
Isn’t that a classic villain mistake of letting their enemy go in order to “show a lesson”? Knowledge is power, and the less knowledge the enemy forces have, the weaker they will be.
Then again, if you can successfully intimidate them into not attacking you, that can be counted in the Win column.
She’s not “letting” him go. She’s sending him back, broken, humiliated, and scared, and it’s a heck of a lot safer than keeping him around waiting for it to strike.
I happen to think that in this case, it’s a heroic weakness.
Sarin is fighting a demon, a being that by all rights is evil to the core and which she could (and as you argue, SHOULD) utterly annihilate entirely, not allowing for the chance of them to learn.
…However, at her core, Sarin is still a dragon doctor. Though when they’re royally ticked off, they will fight (and they most certainly are, right now)…their main philosophy is to HEAL, not to KILL, something that applies even to demonspawn. This is particularly true of Sarin, who as we all know, has a bad enough history that she would NEVER want to kill again. Not even killing a being that is as far as we know made of pure malevolence.
Demons are also immortal, by definition. So destroying its physical existence is pretty much all she CAN do. The alternative is sealing it, but all that needs is some clueless fool to break the seal and let it out.
Besides, the demon’s physical existence may need to be destroyed to break the mind control on mr. assassin there.
I like terrified-but-still-functional Greg in Panel 1. Takes a good actor to present that.
…….wait a minute, does Sarin know about what’s going on with Mori?
Okay, guys, the next comic will be late (exams right now) but I’ll try to have a rough up by Thursday morning. SORRY. Rrrrgh. I’ll strive to have three updates this week, but…fffft. no promises.
