Poor old Sarin’s out of the frying pan and into the fire on this one. Yikes. (Also, my comic is NSFW again…but I hope you guys understand. I also hope you understand me taking a break for one day.)

pfft, never going to use magic to kill again, childhood involving stabbing and stealing’s. he just bought a couple seconds and wasted them gloating.
Probably, yeah.
And while I would normally feel a little bad contemplating the prospect of imminent beatings….
Still naked and unarmed
THIS mage knows 38 ways to kill you just using her thumb Mr. Trenchcoat. She is far from helpless. Perhaps a bit dazed by suddenly falling to the floor, but not helpless.
it is fine to take a break.
Anti.magic field? Sarin did use her fists way before she became into a mage. :B
Soooo…. Did Dr. Insano existed at one point in this reality? Or did somebody else develop the Anti Magic Field Generator… and did they get the dongly bit to work?
Back when they were brainstorming ways to cure Priscilla she asked about being put in an anti-magic shell, so this technology has been distantly referenced at least once.
I know… I just have been watching through AT4W and Spoony Experiment again recently and felt the need to make a reference to them in the form of a joke.
Even if Sarin doesn’t get out of this one, being captured is probably better than being disintegrated. You can’t rescue a pile of ash.
All you need to save somebody from disintegration is to get a reintegration gun
Um… why didn’t they use the anti-magic field in the first place? I mean if they’d activated it they could have safely vaporized her. Or would the vaporizer be blocked by it too?
Still, it seems to be an unnecessarily convoluted ploy.
A later comic is scripted to exposit it but yes, the disintegrator runs off of magic.
So he can’t disintegrate her now.
Wonder if he had the foresight to bring any non-magical weapons.
….suppose are ways, to to my mind, she’d still be mist. The magic turned her into mist, would take more magic to turn back. But that’s just my way of thinking.
And perfectly fine with the nudity.
Some transformations are a temporary effect, like an enchantment. Others run deeper and are permanent; an anti-magic shell won’t undo them. For example, her hair is still green.
As I said on DA … Sarin helpless? Rude awakening in 3, 2, 1 …
