True… but I’m wondering how *they* see this arrangement, then, especially if Elka’s a part of it. There doesn’t seem to be anything one would call romantic between any members the various pairs.
In a way, they’re already “Family-ish” if you think about them.
There’s more to family than romantic relationships.
While three couple are obviously romantic in nature, their relationship with each other is still that of family, just not the romantic family. Thus, why Elka’s a part of it: she’s a member of their family.
