On the one hand, Goro just blew up the loot, which means there are two very capable career criminals locked in this building with a workable escape plan and very little left to lose. I have to admit I would be worried about retaliation right about now.
On the other hand, I wonder what side effects come with rejuvenation. From context, I’m pretty sure it only regresses the body, not the mind-having a body that’s thirty years younger would be very valuable, but I imagine not many people would pay top dollar to be the person they were thirty years ago. So Sheila probably still knows how to walk and talk and use a toilet, and doesn’t need to go back to elementary school. But she’s lost a lot of height and weight and muscle mass, and we don’t know yet if that’s reversible. If she has to turn back into herself one year at a time, that’s a hell of a punishment.
Holy crap.
