Yeah, this demon wasn’t trying to break Greg’s heart…it was trying to make him go BALLISTIC. This will NOT be a retread of Mori’s mental battle.
I was in DIRE mental straits last Friday (have been for a while) but that amazing outpouring of support made me realize that I’ve got a lot  more people following me than I thought. Please continue to leave comments if you can, like I said, every one keeps me going, much, MUCH more than you think. And every one of you will have something different to say.
It was always in the script that Greg was going to be facing a demon that preyed on his insecurities, I just didn’t expect reality to match. (and Greg didn’t write webcomics, he was in theater, remember) Maybe this is like what happened with Grant Morrison and King Mob in “The Invisibles.” Mob gets wounded, Morrison gets wounded. Which may explain why Morrison had King Mob have lots of sex in the next volume…

Y’know, I really like Greg’s smile in Panel 1. That is the smile of someone who has been reminded, spontaneously and unexpectedly, of something quite cheering.

Excellent twist today Speedball. I was tempted to agree with your lone detractor yesterday about how repitive the psychological trauma is, but now I see you haven’t let me down. You remain as creative and clever as you always have and I can’t wait for the next page.
Do you recommend The Invisibles? I’m a fan of Grant Morrison’s All Star Superman, JLA: Tower of Babel (only trade I have), and his run on Action Comics, but I’m hesitating on checking out his other work. While I like his wonderfully weird stories, I’m just worried that he might’ve jumped off the deep end with this one. I love when he takes the silliest, most bizarre ideas and makes them serious, but with a story that weird I’m nervous going into it.
I recommend it if you want the experience of ingesting mind-altering chemicals without actually ingesting mind-altering chemicals.
…I do not recommend using mind-altering chemicals in conjunction with reading The Invisibles. Worst-case scenario, you break through the walls of reality and the demon that ate Mori eats you next.
So the usual Morrison fare, then? I’ll check it out when I have the money to spare or my neighborhood comic nerd (and best friend) can provide me with a digital copy from wherever he gets them. Also, thank you for taking your talent for wit and applying it to this excellent comic. And thank Atop The Fourth Wall for getting me interested in comic books.

I don’t know if it is possible to remind Greg that there are a lot more scripts out there than can possibly get picked up or performed. And sometimes even if something is good, it may not meet the niche for the target demographic or just isn’t something people are willing to take a risk on…

Does the demon can affect anyone he wants without restriction? Else, what determines whom he can affect?
